Sad Day at work today..

Today is the day were having big lay off. 800+ people out of 3600. Sad to see lots of good people loss their job. :'(

take your laptop home on the day before layoffs. Leave it at home on layoff day... it will give you some time to erase your porn, er, reefing pictures, etc.

Thank phong. I think if over for today. I dont know if it a good or bad thing, but they only cut half of expected. Not sure if more to come. Or is over until next quarter.

man...this is so crazy. I think the next 12 months will be bad for the BA. Many hi-tech companies will be bought out, and they will let people go. I hope IBM/Sun deal does not go through, else many people go jobless ... Microsoft is now showing interest in Yahoo again, this would be another big hit to the Silicon Valley.
