Tangerine Dreams Chalice from California Reef Co.


I'm going to wait a few weeks before cutting this chalice up, then a few weeks for healing and we will start signing people up for the grow-out contest!

I think I can get at least 10 frags off this thing. We'll have whoever has the most Eyes on their chalices at the end of the contest be declared the winners.

California Reef Co. will be donating a 30$ giftcard and 20$ giftcard to the winners of this contest.

Lets see, 1 eye of a mummy eye chalice I got a few years ago is just now overflowing the frag plug! I'm a shoe-in for slowest chalice growing contest, when does that one start?
 
In about 1 month I will start the grow out registration.

Cost will be 15$ for a frag.

All proceeds will go to the club so we can have even more events/contests.
 
Chalices definitely benefit from supplemental feeding. They will grow faster.


So if you're in the contest to win, you have to take the initiative to try and beat the other folks!

But if you just want a nice corals and loosely keep track of its growth, you can join too.


I add prizes to these contests to motivate people to continue updating their grow-out posts and it's fun to win stuff, because otherwise we get lazy and don't post pictures :p
