Should Michael run a closed loop on his 210 gallon?

The majority calls for a closed loop. Main arguments are that it is already set up for this, and you have Eric. Maybe it needs a proper pro and con list :). But just pushing to get the tank set up is not a strong argument, as these things are meant to last.

Rofl maybe I can tag the majority on a gofund me for the pump, plumbing parts, and a large incentivce of a tip for all the time it would take the plumbing expert @Srt4eric to put this all together.

Yet I could in no way deny it’s gonna take me time to get the tank up and running even going the standard way. This closed loop method would add a good bit of more time to that ultimate goal. I tend to use the grab a peice here and there to stick to my reefing budget. It surely wouldn’t be a go out and grab all this stuff right away type thing.

So I'm strongly leaning towards just plugging up the bottom with bulkheads and caping things off in a non Permanent way. I also would wanna ensure Its done in a way I won't loose any sleep worrying about the entire tank being emptyed from it leaking on the bottom.

I can't currently see beyond the added cost, and several addtional months it would possibly add.

Speaking of leaning, what's underneath your floor again? I'm still worried about you leveling things out there with the tank since those boards are floating and looked to be drooping by the wall with just the empty tank and stand on dollies. If there's concrete slab under the subfloor then it's probably fine, but it did seem to be something to clear up first since we're talking at least 3000 lbs.
