Solution to POST with Simple HTML formatting

For those that are frustrated by the HTML/formatting of our current forums...

One quick solution is to simply add

<pre>
at beginning
and
</pre>
at the end.

Actually if you use this < p > < b r / > < / p > it will put the /p in for you and < p > < b r / > < / p > will actually give you breaks in your paragraphs

if you try it with the < pre > and < / pre > method, it will actually add the P's and BR's for you. ^_^

STEPS:

Add without the spaces at top of your post the below text.
< pre >


PUT REST OF YOUR CONTENT HERE.
THEN...

Add the following

</ pre > (again without spaces at the bottom of your post.

You don't even need the </ pre > at the end. I've just been using < pre > at the beginning and then that makes your post show up as you type it, with all the spaces and line breaks and everything.

Yep, you only need closing tags for real coding.

Either way, we no longer 'need' to know this (since the forum is fixed now) but knowing it is beneficial!
