Tomorrow is a spare the air day for the bay area. Since we are a group of environmentally conscience reefkeepers I thought we could do a little bit to help. I am going to leave my metal halide off for the day, this will reduce not only the energy used for the light but also the chiller. And on days when its in the 80's run the light in the morning when its cooler so the chiller doesn't work as hard.
Meh, I know these things don't matter as much as permanent and more radical change, but I guess its better than nothing. What do you think?
