Spots on Hammer Coral

Hi Guys,

I just realize that my Hammer Coral has spot on their body. Anybody seen this before.

Any idea how to get rid of it. Thanks for the help

Anybody has any information. I search online but cant find any information about it.

I think they're spirorbid worms, harmless filter feeders that can reproduce quickly if nutrients are high. nothing eats them as far as i know

Is the spots on the body. I call the place where I brought the coral. He said is feather duster eggs. It won't harm anything. But still kind of worry. Seems like my coral is getting irritated.

Do you ever see anything coming out of those shells?
Looks kinda like vermetid snails to me.

I dont see anything came out from it. If it is snail. Should I get rid of it and how. Thank for all who is helping me on this.

Vermetid snails send out “webs” that can irritate other corals. I had a tank that had them everywhere. The next tank I had, I crushed any that I could find.

How did you crush it. I'm trying to get rid of it now. I dont think is too late

Thanks for the help guys. Look good now. I crush the snail with the wooden chopstick and scrap the side gently with a razor blade. I found the rock that gave me trouble and threw it away.
