SPS Coloration question.

I have a question that might not be answerable, but I’m curious what parameters the below Fruity Pebbles Acro may have been in in order to get this bring green coloration? I’ve had it for a month now and it’s transitioned to its more normal maroon color, and I would love for it to go back lol. Lower PAR?

You're probably not going to find an answer that's based on any actual fact or reproducible science. Just be happy it's growing, fuzzy and has good coloration.

But generally, lower light (I'd say < 200 PAR) will lessen red coloration in acros. I personally wouldn't try to muck with this too much next thing too much, but iron is supposed to enhance GFPs (Green Fluorescent Proteins).

When I couldn't get the color red to show and all my sps was green, it was due to 1-2 trace elements being deficient. Started dosing traces and than the colors started showing up.
It's probably hard to begin to guess without a icp comparison of both tanks. Lighting spectrum may also play some role if lighting used has ability to set spectrum and different color intensity such as kessils do. To many variables come to mind even with a casual thought on the subject of acropora color.
