I am setting up a sump for my 75 gallon mixed reef tank. Given the location of my tank and sump, I decided to go with Schedule 40 1" Spa Flex pvc hose. I have done a lot of research that says it glues into schedule 40 fittings like normal hard PVC. However, when I dry fit the parts, the Spa Flex hose seems to be about 1mm more narrow than the hard line. Will the PVC cement make up the difference and create a solid seal? If you have some experience with this material, I would love some feedback!
