How long is temporary? Put the largest mirror in the house against the tank! Turn off lights for a day or two but e eventually they gotta work it out but depending on the aggressiveness may want to toss whoever in the sump or acclimation cage since their caudal peduncles can slice and dice gravely! If ones getting sliced up then separate..

Will my coral be okay with the lights off?

There's areas that are completely murky with mud in the wild during wet seasons where corals get almost no direct light for weeks at a time, they'll be fine. We have acclimation boxes in the club to borrow too if you choose to join.

Corals will be fine for a few days without light. I just did a 3 day blackout (completely sealed from light), and all corals were fine.
