Hey Guys,
I have a friend who has a bunch of scratches on the inside of his 55 bowfront. It is a acrylic. What is the best stuff to use to try and fix the scratches? Is it possible to do it with out hanging to take the water out?
Cheers

mightymagnets sells a scratch removal kit that can be used with a full tank. I have no experience with it.

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you can use micro mesh and buff them out by hand. IME though, you still need to polish it out for it to look good, so in reality it's best to drain the tank. If the scratches aren't that deep you can use Novus polishes with a poliser/bonnet set to low speed and it goes pretty quick.
