Here is an old pic years a ago but you can see the 3 inch moat around the tank to catch the water. It's like an infinity pool basically. I cover the of the so you don't see the return pipe. The drain is by the light pole of the left of picture. You need to get the correct flow on return pump as not to cause too many ripples on the water surface.

Nice! That's a cool set up. I like all you clams. Does it make any splashing noise as water runs over the edge and down into the 3 inch moat area? Or from the moat, to the sump?
Does it evaporate water quickly, or is it the same as in a regular tank.

Hey Arnold nice to see the updates looking great!! How far under the surface is your return and does it split into two? So the falling water sorta acts as a skimmer does the moat foam up ever?

It does evaporate much more. Once you fine tune the level an flow it pretty quiet

I think we need a video tour and tank journal with the full equipment list and livestock list Arnold lol

Is it plumbed into the main system?

Probably tank of the month material again if we still did it!
No stand alone tank....also no skimmer

No skimmer or foaming. It's about 3 inches below surface. It's a L shape return to help spread the flow.

I like the rounded corners on that tank! Who made the tank? They don't make acrylic tanks like that anymore.

How has your experience been keeping >2 clowns?
When I consolidated my tanks into one, I ended up with two pairs of clowns in the same tank. 1 was bullied so for now he's been living in the sump (moving to other tank tomorrow). The other three have been living together peacefully. Thinking of keeping them together and then getting the loner a new friend
