After a little chit chat post swap, I thought it would be humorous to post my tank from hell (one is ok and one is horrendous. this is the horrendous one lol). It gets WCs (50% weekly) and the fish are quite happy and fed daily..but algae loves it too. It has it all, but mainly a ton of hair algae..and now a re-occurrence of red cyano.

This odd algae (I'm just horrible at IDing) started growing a couple weeks back. The odd part is that this tank is completely isolated. There has been no addition for months. Go go algae ninja! Anyone know what it is?

Tony, that algae looks like Caulerpa racemosa (BTW, it's one of the banned species)... I would tear down that tank and remove all the hair algae :D ..

This is as good a picture as you'll get of my soft coral tank... however the anemones are still thriving! Closest thing to water change I did on this tank was to fill up the water when I moved things over.

*note* do not take this as a way to do things or "proof" it can be done. This is a very lucky thing that it's working out at all... (I'm looking at one member in particular ;))
