Not saying they need to be. Haven’t seen a lot of fish rooms. One I saw had it for humidity reasons I think.

I gotcha. The room has humidity sensor and air extractor so it’s humidity is quite controlled.

Yeah same material that is used in bathrooms. You can actually soak it in water and it won’t swell like Sheetrock.

Been a crazy busy couple of months. Here are a few pictures of the system maturing. Robert has brought some amazing corals. My kids and I also made it down to Anaheim for Reefapaloza and got some fun pieces (note to self just like Vegas best to establish a budget ahead of time …). Only set back was a bad batch of salt about 8 weeks ago that caused a large die off of the softies, but now we are back on track and better than ever! Plans have been started for display tank #2. With any luck construction will start after the new year
