Thinking of Upgrading

You can't see it in the picture, but there is a bump out in the ceiling that prevents the door from swinging a bit past 90 degrees in the open position.
Darn low ceilings :)
 
If you do put the tank there I highly recommend raising your header up at least 8" above the tank allowing for a removable piece of molding. It makes the front panel much easier to clean, as well as making aquascaping much easier.

I sure wish I had a wall like that to utilize, looks like it's going to be a fun build!
 
Yes I was planning to leave at least 12" above to do a flip up piece of molding panel so I could do as you suggests maintenance and scaping.

Pending on how motiviated we are this weekend, we may have a hole in the wall. If that happens I will start a new thread in the Journals section.
