I just shave the bottoms of the coral cradles off and then stick the bottom on the rockwork or attach it to a larger size plug.

Update...

Sorry to say this frag has passed. I killed it, I suck...

Finally gave in and took the dead frag plug out. Been trying to bring it back to life trying different light/flow areas in the frag tank but nothing worked. Finally the hair algae moved in and finished it off. Sorry.
