To my knowledge they haven't made the 20k in quite a while, the 20k+ replaced the old one.

How do the Ushio 20k+ compare with Radiums? Color and growth? Also no need to run HQI setting with these bulbs?

They very similar, the Ushio to my eyes has a tiny bit more violet. They do not ned to be run on HQI ballasts and are fine on mags, e, and HQI. Currently I'm running them on all types.

I have been running the 400W version for about 6 months too and will agree they look very similar as the Radiums if not almost exactly the same

One must assume that you looked at the picture of the second link but did not see it was for a 175W bulb. I checked their site and I don't see any 250W SE Ushio's.

The devil is in the details and unless you give up the details no one can help you. I see no place in this thread of you stating you are looking for a 250w. I do see you said there is no SE/mogul of which there is. More info gets you more accurate results.
