Using a band saw

Hey I’m going to be fragging up some coral today with the help of a bandsaw. Question I have is can the saw go trough the frag plugs the corals are on?

It can. If there is a stem on the plug, I cut that off first.

Yup, bandsaw is simply a metal ribbon that in embedded with diamond so it'll grind through just about anything.

It’ll even go through rock but it dulls the blade faster.

It's actually very hard to cut yourself on a diamond blade from a bandsaw. I've touched it many of times with my hand and never once got cut.

Nope smooth sailing the whole way through. Ended up with 24 new frags and all of them seem to be taking it well enough.
