VarioS return pump connected to Hydros controller (and where to buy Hydros accessories around here)?

Did anyone connect this return pump to a Hydros controller?

If yes, can you please confirm the following:

The pump will be connected to the Drive port? Or a different port?

The app will be able to fine tune the flow, and if yes, how detailed can the flow be regulated?

Lastly, does anyone know where Hydros accessories can be bought in store around here?

I think you might need one of the multi pump connectors. I've been talking to CV support lately and they've been really fast to respond. https://support.coralvue.com/

@Alexander1312 -- If your VarioS has the 0-10v connection port on the pump’s controller, then you don't need Hydros WE, you can use your X4 + its "Out 0-10V purple port" + this cable https://www.coralvue.com/hydros-0-10v-quad-cable

Thank you! Yes, I have been using this cable for my lights, and there is a 0-10 V port on the controller, so I would only need the cable and can connect the pump to my wave engine (my X4 port is already used for the lights). Thanks again!

I have two varios pumps on a wave engine. You can set the speed in 1% increments, as well as put the pump on a schedule for variability by time or day.

I have just found this in my boxes. I assume this is a more elegant way to connect the pump to the controller - the way you have connected yours? Unfortunately, my four gyres are using all of the ports already, and I am not sure how or if the quad cable can be used to connect to the maxpspect gyres.

Yes. You can run the pump using a 10v but it’s kind of pointless since you still need to use the power supply and varios controller and can simply program the pump that way, no?

I carry a lot of Hydros accessories. Was thinking about getting rid of the line completely but now that BRS doesn’t carry any of the stuff anymore, I will be bringing in more of the products and accessories.

You can find out my real time availability of their products here…

If you can put an item in your cart, chances are I have it in the shop.

Yes, I also thought connecting it directly to the WE probably has some advantages. I am very keen on being able to dial in the return pump flow via an app. Seems like this would work (if I had a slot left to plug it in). Need to add another WE….

Unfortunately, you do not have in stock (or carry) any of the items I need. It would definitely be a great idea to carry these, as we have a lot of Hydros fanboys in this club.

LOL..well, you’re not wrong. I have no problem bringing in products that will move. However, this particular ones hasn't been a good mover for years so the stuff just sat on the shelf for a long time. So, we’ll see!

@robert4025 Long time no see! Make sure to get with Richard about our guarantee that the product will move, if it doesn't, we will happily bring new stock HYDROS back without a stocking charge! We are dedicated to supporting the local store and reefers. Plus, it's selling out pretty much everywhere :)

Get ahold of me through Richard if you EVER need anything, even with a customer in store asking questions. We will get you to know the system inside and out too. I wish I lived closer buddy!
