What are the benefits of DJ Panels?

Do the plugs come straight out the back?
I kinda like the ones with 4 plugs so I can divide up the loads.
I really like the blue lights though.

Yeah, the plugs come straight out of the back. One outlet for each switch.
There are 9 switch panels with red lights too, I think -but just like you, I dig the blue :D
 
I used them for everything until I got a controller. I had each one labeled so that it made it very simple to turn one thing off and as already stated made it really easy if I had someone watching my tank. I still use one of them for things that don't really need to be run through a controller. In my opinion way more useful then a plain old powerstrip and can be mounted to look very clean as well.
 
nice, thanks for all the feedback! I currently have everything plugged into two DC8's, even things that are usually on all the time. Unfortunately the only way to turn them off is to login to the system using my computer =(

I'll consider these when I move the tank to the house
