I need to call the heater company and bitch up a storm, 200W heater on 40G tank and it turns off at about 74.5 but the thing is supposedly auto set for 78 degrees, they claim +/- 1° but even then it isn't close, and I calibrated my probes with a lab grade thermometer, heck I used it on the tank just to see when the heater turned off, even going so far as to measure the temperature in the same compartment as the heater.

Yes speeds up the metabolism. have to keep them feed constantly but get them thru Meta.

Used to run 75 74 to keep some colder water fish.
With the new setup I run 76 to 77.
