Will this support a 140 gallon display tank?

What’s your plan for the top of the stand? So far I think I’m going to get 3/4” plywood and poly / stain it to seal it then 1/2” soft foam, although the soft foam might be unnecessary since the bottom of my tank is acrylic.

7 layers marine grade plywood. It uses glue that doesn’t break down around humid environment.

I will spray paint it and will have a soft foam. It gives it a floating look to it.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just stumbled across this while researching my upcoming aquarium (my research thread). I'm curious if you have any updated pics or thoughts on this stand. I'm liking the idea.

Some questions:
* What company did you end up buying from? You mentioned Pleasanton. I'd happily buy local.
* Happy? Any pics?
* How'd you wrap it? Did you cut/frame yourself?
