This? Yes. If you really want to be heard, attend a meeting.
But you misread it the first time I said it, and missed the 'really'. Again, you are heard if you don't attend a meeting, but if you feel that you aren't being heard, attend a meeting.
Maybe it is. They are working hard to make the club go - you seem to be whinging.
Sure you and others did.
Not on its own, but in conjunction with being a member of the BOD, of course it does give you and extra say, along with extra responsibilities. I don't believe I said anything about it being unfair to critize them, nor did I think it. By definition, being on the BOD gives you say that members and not members don't have.
Because you are not a member of the BOD, don't go to meetings, and don't do the work of making the club go.
For someone that said they don't like it when people read things into their posts that they don't mean, you sure have no problem doing the same thing to me.
