Chalicss , Zoa's , Plates , and LPS all of which have been doing great. Been struggling my some of my sps lately which led me to see these test resultsAmmonia 0.2, po4 0.9... what is your tank like? These values are way high..
Are these values ppm?

This is your long-established tank, right? I’m going to call BS on the ammonia and nitrite levels, unless you just had your largest fish die and you are in the middle of a tank crash.View attachment 19579Here are my results
Yeh with these values most of this corsl would die.Chalicss , Zoa's , Plates , and LPS all of which have been doing great. Been struggling my some of my sps lately which led me to see these test results

Also I’m assuming your phosphate was just written down wrong and is really 0.09 ppm based on your other comment?
Actually it’s the same water. Even though it was running with no lights or skimmerHas anyone else gotten their water tested? Just curious on the result on well established tank. Thought Bob just restarted his system so result maybe little off.
I went to AC today to pick up a few more snails and decided to try out their Aqua Spin. My results are attached.
Carson said that the only one that seems to be constantly off for him so the po4 and I agree. He said everyone seems to say to just move the decimal point over one place to the left, and that's exactly how mine lines up.
Overall, I'd say this is totally worth $12 to double check your tests here and there. Carson said he plans to call API and see if either the tester can't read po4 at this low of a range or if it needs to be calibrated.
My parameters from the same water sample
Alk 8.5
Calcium 475 - Salifert
Mag 1350 Salifert
Po4 .03 - Hanna ULR HI-736
Nitrate 1 - Salifert
Nitrite (I don't check and I'm sure it's not 1
Ammonia (I also don't check and assume it's 0)
Ph 8.05 - BRS lab grade probe and apex (not really a true reading because the water was not aerated for a while)

Yeah, I would also question the Nitrite value...My bet is that your nitrite is not high.I went to AC today to pick up a few more snails and decided to try out their Aqua Spin. My results are attached.

I don't even own a nitrite test kit to test it. I mean, anything is possible.Yeah, I would also question the Nitrite value...My bet is that your nitrite is not high.
+1 how can you have such low no3 but high nitrite?I don't even own a nitrite test kit to test it. I mean, anything is possible.
Correct. Look like neptune also got a unit. I think its still only for stores, not for retail similar to AC case..I saw on Neptune's facebook that they have the same machine now as well. No info on pricing or availability.

If its accurate and consistent (which my understanding its not yet) I will buy it. How easy it is to test is awesome.Machines are close to $1000 which is what I was told
I agree. This gen1 seems to have a few flaws but I’ll happily hop on this train once those kinks are worked out.If its accurate and consistent (which my understanding its not yet) I will buy it. How easy it is to test is awesome.
you can if you don't have enough nitrifying bacteria that eats up nitrites... stating the obvious but... Ammonia -- > Nitrite --> Nitrate... insert relevant respective bacterial colony where the arrows are...+1 how can you have such low no3 but high nitrite?
