Potential Bug: I was trying to like this post, and it gave a system error asking me to refresh the page.. when I refreshed, I saw few more likes had already been registered so perhaps I had a stale page at my end.. for events like ‘likes’, even on stale states, the new event should register. Sorry couldn’t take the screenshot, will try to reproduce and share if it is reproducible. Currently using chrome on mobile where I saw the issue.

On a side note, 1st look of the website looks fantastic! Cant wait to explore and find some Easter eggs

Thanks! I am still tweaking stuff in the background, some changes require it to perform a quick rebuild - I've caught that same issue as well

Bug (currently using chrome on iOS):

Selected option in DMs seems to be buggy.. if you check the screenshot, I selected 5 messages, but while selecting it opened one of the threads, so probably the selection didn’t register.. since check box is so small, it’s highly likely that you may accidentally open th thread instead of selecting the thread.. I guess we should make the entire thread selectable instead of openable when Selected option is checked, if that makes sense.. you can see at the bottom it has Direct Messages (3) mentioned though there are 5 DMs selected.

The overall experience of selected button may have some scope of improvement.. I will let you test more and take the call on how to improve

Is this check box selection under ‘manage watched threads’ supposed to do anything? I believe you added it to be able to unwatch selected threads, but I don’t see an option to unwatch selected threads. I do see option to unwatch ALL threads even when only a few are selected.

another bug in selected button.. if you select a few threads, go to a different page and then come back to DMs, those threads still show up as selected.. the selection should not be saved once user leaves the page

when in dark mode, some links on mouseover are a shade of purple and al little tough to read.

it's blown up in the screenshot a little, so it's a little more clear to read, but with the normal sized text, makes it a little tough.

those show "pinned" posts by admins

For messages I am increasing the checkbox size and touch radius to prevent misclicks, I'll see if I can get it to clear selections after navigating away as well!
You might need to do a hard refresh to see the changes.

Not sure I understand, I was talking about the email check box in the screenshot I shared.. not the pin icon.. thanks for working on the selected option!

Ah those are email notification selectors - you can enable/disable email notifications for new replies - can get spammy if you are watching a lot of threads!

Checked = send me an email alert for every reply
UnChecked = Don't send me an email!

I was on the watched threads page.. so all threads shown there have email alerts enabled for me.. like I said above I guess you would ideally want to give an option to disable the alerts on selected threads, but I didn’t see any such option.. so feels like check boxes are not useful on that page right now.. try yourself on the watched threads page, it’s a little hard to explain

I added a dark-mode contrast override so hovered/focused links no longer stay low-contrast purple-on-purple:

forces hover/focus link color to high-contrast text color in dark mode
adds visible underline on hover/focus
includes common hot spots (structItem-title, nav links, content row titles, message names)

Please hard refresh and test the dark-mode pages where you saw the issue.

I see.. yeah mobile is usually a different ball game for most web apps.. btw, I got 2 email notifications for this last message you posted, not sure why
