They look cool whatever you do don't place mohicans anywhere near main rock structures. They have the ability to really take off. A small rock is highly recommended. Would help keep them contained.

Scop aquired from a side deal with member. A Walt disney from the same member thats in rough shape. Hopefully my tank is stable enough for it to recover and that I picked a decent spot to place it.

Peroxide didn't the same as @Darkxerox mentioned. Thinned it slightly but made it spread more than anything. I even tried double and tripped doses in two different tanks for two weeks. I wouldn't say it couldn't work. It just didn't do anything on my tanks.

Could a new 1 inch union work? I'm assuming the red circle connects to the abyss pump. The missing part is where Grey circle is? If so you just get a new 1inch union and forgot about the trying to match up the missing part.

What are you connecting it to? Can you show pictures of the other side of the union and what your connecting together? Return pump line or a drain line? Normally you can get a peice of pipe cut short to glue into one side of the union and a 3/4 barb fitting thats a slip fitting on the other...
