    Some good news and not so good news. Ammonia is still not zero. DKH is now 10! Magnesium is 1300+ Salinity 35ppm Aquascaping is done. I think. Now for the bad news... got laid off from work. Need to put things on hold until I find a new job. I am hoping it’s not going to be long... but...

    My understanding is that it should be above 9.5 especially since the tank is empty. Though I am not too worried about it’s much as the high nitrates. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Conducted a few water tests over the last few days: Ph: 8.05 Ammonia: .05 Nitrite: .01 Nitrates: 40 way too high Phosphates: 0 Magnesium: 1250 Alk: 8.8 need to get this up Calcium: 430 Next up a water change, then adjust the levels if necessary, then aqua scape the tank. Probably another week...

    I spent a few hours last night adding my Kessil lights... wanted to make sure they were in before I finalize the plumbing.... good thing I did. I completely messed up on my measurements of the synergy ghost overflow... after I had installed the lights, I noticed the overflow box won’t fit...

    Thanks. I love this sump. The primary reason for the black was for algae control, and the blue outline was... well, I love the color blue. :-) As for the sump measurements, they are: 60L x 30H x 20W.
