I've always had it mix cloudy for me. at MAX last year asked the seachem person about it and he said it was due to high Mg t.hat causes it to be cloudy and that's normal for that salt. Once it goes in tank it's not cloudy anymore so I don't really care and given its higher Mg, i'll take that.

I've also converted from MH to LED, the main reasons were for cost & less heat. I have lumenmax elite reflectors if you decide to go MH & need some good reflectors.

Really nice & well organized setup! Nifty approach with adding a PAR 38 for a frag section down below- more interesting than a ball of cheato. I wonder how long it'll take until you decide to turn the fireplace into another display tank. :)

I also use a couple white clip on desk/ office fans in my sump. it's cheap and has worked for a few years. They're so cheap that even if the rust got to it, I wouldn't really care about buying another. For my canopy I daisy chained a few 120mm computer fans to 1 DC adapter and that works...

They're white colored, but more of a 'dirty' white. I'll be happy to cut part of the frag plug & get them to you @ next BAR meeting.
