Granular makes sense to me - it's what I use successfully.

I just lost a Derasa because I injected a mushroom next to it with calcium to get rid of it. I'm thinking that it was due to the mushroom dying but not sure. I would pull the clam out of the water and cut them off. The clam can handle being out of the water briefly.

I've had a twinspot for about 4 months. Seems very happy - hopping, sifting sand and digging tunnels. We'll see.

Fantastic! I wonder how they will get along as they grow. I assume you keep your parameters fairly constant. Would you share standard parameters these days including temperature. Are you still doing around 6 hours of MH/day? Water changes? %/? And the T5s - do you think the 2 x 4' are adequate...
