I just deleted my Paypal account after their latest controversy involving potential $2500 fines for speech on or off their site they don't approve of. It was removed after backlash and they said it was a mistake. They did however publish it so someone wrote it and approved it's inclusion in ToS...
Once you get on a roll it goes fast. Especially if you have a good idea of what you want plus having the PVC form to build around sped things up.
I have an extra 16oz bottle of thin CA glue if anyone wanted to drop by to build some structure. Just need dry sand, broken marco rock, and a new...
I have gotten careless and received a mild burn and exclaimed loudly. I wouldn't use it for gluing corals to frag plugs unless it has a stony base with no flesh. It's a bit harder to do with wet objects but not impossible.
Here are some pics of a roughly 17" tall structure I put together out of broken rock in about an hour. Something like 80 pieces of rock if you include the small rubble.
I've done this for the last couple scapes and mixed sand into the baking soda for the latest one and it turned out great. Just put pinches of the mix on the joint and drip some super glue on and repeat to build up the joint. It's super strong and looks great but can be a bit messy and you need...
80/20 T-slot stuff does fit the IM stand channels. I used the 8mm stuff and did have to shorten the screws a bit which is super easy if you have a belt grinder or sander. Someone else used the 6mm and didn’t mention needing to shorten the screws.
It makes me wonder if anything “bounce” is actually a disease. Like burls on trees are valued for their figure but are a diseased section of tree. So weird.
I like curved tubes and I can not lie
You other reefers can't deny
That when a tank walks in with an tangled tube space
And a sumpthing in your face
You get sprung
Not with a leak though
My skimmer finally had an issue after 3 yrs or so. I’ve fully cleaned it and the Simplicity pump about every 6 months. Never an issue until it stopped making bubbles or running at the right internal water level last week. I thought the pump burned out so I installed the backup and had the same...
To read about this happening to one of our canine friends early in the morning is bad enough, but to have lived it and it being your dog… So sorry Eric.
Thanks for reminding us of the potential dangers.
I don't see any of them doing this lately but the vibrations from the motor transmit through the glass of the eurobrace it sits on. Even if I can't hear it. Not sure you really can nor that you need to unless a couple fish are severely underfed.
I’ve had 2 Avast feeders and the fish definitely figure out when the augur starts moving. The Anthias are first to the party. Used to have one that would sit in the mixing tube at feeding time.
