In English, wouldn't that be something like, 'When you get out of the tub, the kids will be in bed and the kitchen will be cleaned up from supper, so I can give you a foot rub'?
They are cute in person. Too small and too little time for me to try to see if they are eating. They are moving around like larger BBS in similar jerks. Two clouds in the tank, the oct and the BBS. The female is still in the bottle. She came out to 'fluff' the old egg mass and went back in her...
I am very thankful that nothing has bleached yet. My goal was to get past that hurtle. The second hurtle was to select coral that are not growing well and cull them out. So far everything is doing as good as MH. Many are color changing for the better to my eye. Tiny green mouthed merletti is now...
The red was too much to look at. I have always had good algae growth in my tank. With LED it seems to grow well too. When I made the switch I took the refugium off line. The tiny bit of chaeto moved to the main tank has grown fast, but so has all the other algae. Hoping the chaeto will not pull...
I built mine with tons of help from club members here. I did not have the skill set to make them when I started. If you have electric background you will be fine.
I did not put all blue on one and white on other I set mine up 5:7 white:blue, as I wanted more blue than one for one. My third...
Sunday first thing we walked on the beach on the bay here in Berkeley just to see Mt Tam. The sun behind us just coming over the hills made the vista crisp.
Not complaining, but this guy eats like a waif. The last one had nearly finished the clean up by now. This one doesn't even clean the rock the first pass. It is active during the day too. The other only nocturnal. A great animal to have around, and looking like it will feed here a month.
What coral is the club looking for to stock our booth at BAYMAC? Was it last year we went more classic corals, as the framers tend hit the unusual and new?
This coral grew so well in my PC lit tank I think moving it to a better place will give it the best chance to grow again. If some stays on the rock and dies the section you pop off should recover well. If not glue a rock above it for a more permanent solution. Now you created a bright place for...
My fixture is about six inches above the water and it is bright to look across at. My plan is to shield the entire heat sink down to the water line in a reflective material. I'll try to get a photo tomorrow incase anyone has ideas on how to do this.
Mike for me I have used a sea hare twice now and removed it before all signs of algae were gone. They did not touch the red algae much, but got anything green including macros.
Mario, thanks for meeting up with me to pass on this one. It is smaller than the others I had and it has great...
