    Changing DI resin

Yeah, it’s not a big mess, but it’s definitely avoidable. It’s just two of these in series. Anion, cation x 2 and mixed.

    Changing DI resin

Every time I do this, I end up spilling a lot of water because the canisters are full. My DI stages are isolated from the others by a valve. So, I close the valve - which means no more water flowing in. Then I open the solenoid at the end to relieve pressure and I open the canisters, making a...

    Anna & Pablo’s RSR P650

The Brunneus came out to eat today. She’s been bolder and her colors are starting to darken. The orange stripe pencil wrasse likes to hang out with her and I firmly believe that is one of the reasons she’s more courageous.

    Anna & Pablo’s RSR P650

Both Pencil Wrasses have been out of the sand all day today. They ate frozen food and are picking at the rocks, as they should. The Brunneus has been cautiously venturing out of his hiding spot and eating. The Christmas Wrasse is MIA. Not counting her, I have 8 happy wrasses in the tank!
