    Torch/Hammer/Frogspawn ID

I've seen the price of these things go crazy at the moment and wanted to check if anything I have is going to help me retire ;) Any specific ID's on these would be greatly appreciated.

    Bubble algae problem

I dose white vinegar(similar principal to vodka) / Kalk + 2 and can attest to the Cyano blooms. It's pretty much controlled now, but I've had a couple of pretty major outbreaks with little / no change in any chemistry or usage.

Back at it again after 12 yr hiatus. IM 30 gl long

Sweet bike - I sold my BMW S1000RR to get back into reefing myself a few years back. I miss the bike, my wife doesn't, but we all love the reef tank!

    Bubble algae problem

Rich -I just watched your Macna 2018 talk () and see where you are coming from .... BTW, I've got this miracle new salt! FWIW - I just brush and catch bubble algae in my filter sock.

Actually, you only need minimal power to light the Gas and you're off! I have a small generator and it's good for my tank, fridges and hot water. Sure, if PG&E turns of the gas you are screwed though

Not my work - Pretty new house so came with it, but yeah, beats the tank any day! And has easy access connections for my sink!

Ok, got my projects mostly complete now in the garage! I tried out my new water change today using the 3-way diverter from my main return. It works pretty cool. Also got my utility sink plumbed up so I no longer need to clean the skimmer in the kitchen sink!

Where do you dose your 2 part

I'm dripping straight into my sump too, usually cleaning my return ~ 3 months or so. I actually have a few returns that I rotate out for redundancy, but cleaning doesn't usually have any dosing build up. I'm using Kalk, with vinegar so not sure if that's helping dissolve things a little too.

    JVU’s RSR750

That sponge looks sweet! Great color. Always been a little paranoid to get sponges after hearing tales of mass destruction when they go south, any bad experiences with yours?

    JVU’s RSR750

Very nice looking! I'm much more a fan of "natural" looking tanks over the museum/super staged tanks.

    SJReef store hours

Two times in the last 2 weeks I have driven here to find the store closed during their posted hours! Super frustrating.

So it seems that when there are no "problems" to fix in the tank, you find your own problems, just to keep busy :) Next up is to clean up my water making station. I have 2 x 30g totes, one for fresh RODI and the other for mixing my saltwater. Up until last weekend, I was fine pumping the...

    Here we go again - Dave's 120 g

Will - here's one of the frags you gave me - I think it's ~ 6" across now. Somehow went from all neon green to a more purple/green but still looks quite nice.

Thanks Will - I am still ever thankful for your help moving that cylinder thingy into what I ended up with now! New Years' resolution is to try and be a little more involved with the club again.
