    Scott's 180 Peninsula

Ya, I thought the same. I need to go back and look at the programming on the overall brightness. I just took someone else's programming from the GHL site. Now that I have the PARs, I can fiddle with the settings. That said...the corals are happy for now.

    Scott's 180 Peninsula

Yes. I have designed this tank with acros as my target. This is not my first reef :). Here is the thing, I have been slow to get the bacteria up, have a refugium running since the beginning with macro algae, have already seeded it with copepods and phytoplankton for several weeks now. My...

    Reef-A-Palooza - Anaheim

All, I am thinking of going to Reef-A-Palooza in LA. If I go, I will be flying myself to Fullerton and spending the day there on Saturday, Aug 17 leaving out of Reid-Hillview. If you want to meet LA Fishguy (Jim Stime), he is a very good friend of mine and he will likely be there. Anyone...

    MACNA

Anyone going to MACNA? I will be going early and checking out some of the local shops. I am buying some new SPS corals for the finally cycled tank! Refugium is running nicely with macro algae growing like a weed :). Here are a few pictures:

    Trident!!!

My s/n is 240 or so. I think a few hundred, but I don't know. I know that i tried to get the first 100 unit discount after about 40 days and I missed that oppty. There is a private FB page for Reef Kinetics so you can look there and ask.

    Trident!!!

If anyone would like to see the ReefBot, drop me a line. I live in Campbell. You can see a cycling tank while you are at it LOL.

    Trident!!!

So far, the ReefBot has been excellent...very convenient to be able to start a test whenever I want. It is really quiet. I do have it inside a cabinet so most of the noise is blocked/muffled. The only time you might hear something is when it is doing a test requiring titration (like calcium)...

    Trident!!!

Interesting thread. Glad it was finally released. I personally decided to go down the path of a KH Director and the Reefbot. The KH Director works with GHL dosers and can directly influence the dosing if desired. I have the Core7 4 part on the other 4 head GHL doser and plan on programming...

Ya. It is strange. I can use Chrome on my PC as well as Safari on my Mac. But not Chrome on my Mac. Worked last night LOL.

Isn't this a beautiful thing? Tank is coming along

No..it is longer. I thought it was stuck for the first test. The nitrate test takes about 30-40 minutes. The full cycle takes a while. It cleans everything 3 x before actually running the test. Then it puts each reagent in based on the water volume. For Nitrate, it goes to reagent A 3x I...

Isn't this a beautiful thing? Tank is coming along

Oh ya...it is great. I am testing Nitrite/Nitrate, Phosphate and calcium right now. Only thing is that it takes a while for some of the tests to complete. Didn't take long to get it running. Just hit the test request and it will send you a note when the test is done with the results. I am...
