Sorry to hear about that.You should frag all of the corals you can to remove the dead parts. PM me when your ready again and come over and pickup some more frags.

"Lots of natural sunlight"I was thinking trying this since I been over to Lap's place and when the sun hit his tank the Acan's go wild. I have never seen Acans expand so much(1-1 1/2) each. They really seem to like some sun light. :)

I been trying the same thing with the lights. 4pm-12am on one side and then 12am-4am on the other. how it working out for you? I been on this system for about a month. I also put up a mirror to reflect light back into tank.

I guess I agree with "I like it" since all of us feel the same way. I just wish I had ideas of how to use less power for the tank. I toyed with running the skimmer 3day on and 2 off.My son came home from school with some CFL to save energy I justed smiled. :)

no large colony for me...once they start to grow too large I'll frag out. Colony are for the ocean.

Here is what I was thinking.I come across nice sps corals from time to time but my tank is full. This is the plan I'll buy the coral (you got to trust that I pickup something good.No brown or greens ;D) We each will get 1in or larger frag.Hope to get 3-6 reefers so cost would be from 10-20...

It's just off center about 5in from the top of my 10K reeflux 250w.Notice how the tips Pop compare to the bottom. I do notice that's the deep blue is starting to move down to the base. The original one in reefready site was taken under 400w 20k. I was disappointed in it till some other...
