Any place good to drop off wife and kids close to the BAR meeting?

Would like to attend but wife and kids would like to do something else.Any good shopping centers close to the meeting site?

There's a mall that they can go to - Newpark Mall. I believe it's another 5 miles down the 880 freeway.
