Can be tough depending on the coral to identify without good lighting or because the coral is closed up. You can always post pics now and ppl can chime in, otherwise yes, ppl will do their best to try to identify what you have brought.

They do not. As big a piece as you would be happy to receive. I’ve seen pieces as small as an inch for higher end stuff all the up to baseball size chunks for more ordinary stuff
