    210 gallon Dream tank

He was the boss of the tank. It didn't make it through qt lost it week one. They are know to be jerks especially if they are the biggest fish. Pretty much the same with all tangs. Yet clown tangs are a bit more aggressive than many of them.

    How bad really is it?

Yea that chip is to the silicone and at bottom of tank no good and it's runs upwards fill and add stuff it will definitely spread. I wouldn't put that inside my house. It might be diffierent if it was at the very top of tank above water line. What size is the tank?

    Alex’s IM 150 EXT

If a frag of candy cane were to end up in my care I would be grateful recently lost most of mine from lyngbya stuff smothering it. I couldn't get it until swap. So no worries if you couldn't hold it till than.

    DBTC: Green BTA

There will be a dbtc table you can place them on where we have a sheet people fill out what they take and we post the list following the swap so everyone can update dbtc with who got a frag. These nems would also be acceptable as 1 of the 3 entry to the swap. Your also welcome to bring extra...

How does a BAR Frag Swap Work?

If mounted leave them mounted. If you they are a xl coral what you need to cut to frag mounted or unmounted is fine. I prefer mounted myself for ones I get. Though I have cages and can mount them myself of course. Some other not everyone will in deed cut them off a plug. For corals i got...

URGENT: Looking for help moving 90g system Sunday 4/19

I agree with @Kensington Reefer. Trying to take a entire system of used water is of no real benefit. Maybe take the first 20-30 gallons before disrupting the sand bed/substrate etc. You wouldn't want any funky water thats been stirred up or mixed with detritus from the bottom of the tank...

Tikis return to the hobby, 40B

Maybe it's how my tank is plumbed again no expert. On my over the back return lines on 40gallon tank, I loose power my tank use to drain back into the to sump from return lines. I've had same issue with reverse sphion with ato reservoir that fell into sumps water. I was under impression you...

Minor observation, I suck at plumbing but looking at height of baffled walls in sump, your drain lines seem as though they would contact water inside the sump. Never a good idea to have drains at or below sumps water level. You want a clear air gap of a 1- a few inches in event of a power...

Undulated Trigger needs a good .

Posting your general location would help. It needs to be un a fish only tank, they are highly aggressive and would definitely eat smaller fish. It's a beautiful fish though. How many inches?

    Algae or BJD?

Nothing you can do, or rather should do beyond maybe manual removal. With your nutrients numbers very much out of wack count yourself lucky it isn't much worse. Consider that spin brush for removal. If it's on the coral and easily removed I'd take it out and clean it gently not hitting the...

Zoas and softies are pretty tough actually a good first choice with the exception of some of the more finicky expensive zoas. Some of those can melt on you over night. Zoas, leather corals and easy mushrooms are all good first choices. Than lps.

Qckslvr and Mrs 90 gallon Oceanic tank build

Do you use different equipment for a the tanks, sharing anything that contacts water between tanks mean other tanks will have ich as well. Even if it doesn't show. For the qt tank you set up hopefully it's not your intention to use copper with the sand and bio media you didn't specify so only...

    210 gallon Dream tank

Here is a one month update: The lyngbya was wiped out in 4 days after dosing Azithromycin aquired online. Sadly I've lost corals from it smother some of them out. Mainly a few hammers and torches. I've also lost some of the candy cane and trumpet corals. There are two barely holding on even...

    White Stringy Mucus

I'm definitely not saying they are 100% spoinards just a possibility. One way to tell they get excited shortly after food hits water. Kinda like nassarius if you are familiar with how they pop out after they taste food.
