My first Fish copper Qt treatment

So how long do I treat them for seeing you refrenced 2 doses. I haven't removed copper yet. I was thinking of maybe doing it over the next day or two or likely just moving fish to the other tank. I did fill the extra tank with new rodi water, carbon , filter pads, CupriSorb after sterilizing...

Anyone culturing large amounts of phyto?

There are a few local people honestly. Though I would urge caution in getting it from random people. I recall a post recently someone got phyto from a random local guy selling it and there was allegedly a tank crash due to a bad batch. Nathan I can vouch for because he actually knows and...

My first Fish copper Qt treatment

I stayed at 78 in qt tank. 210gallon tank is at 81-83 trying to speed up fallow period. But ai decided if I add observation period of 30 days. I might as well just run thr full 72days fallow. I guess a similar question is would you personally just go with the biobrick and put the Pic elbows...

My first Fish copper Qt treatment

OK so another update here. Tomorrow is day 30 of fish quarantine since getting them into therapeutic range with copper power. ***There are a few questions at the bottom for those with experience in qt.*** I started with dual 40 gallon breeders yet lost half the fish during the first week of...

Do You Use a Mag Float 500?

Lol I need to find something appropriate for my 210. Using a nano one presently let's just say it's a job. Honestly haven't really look for anything though.

Tank Parameters all over the place

A reactor is 10x maybe 20× more efficient than Rowaphos in a bag. It's a major difference. Using it in a bag with your size tank and bioload isn't having much of a effect. It couldn't have one that would be actually noticeable. A reactor given time is capable of cycling the entire tanks...

Tank Parameters all over the place

Don't use that and lanthanum at the same time whatever you do. When you start the reactor stop lanthanum. It would likely crash your tank at the worse all the way up to getting you dinos. You want to measure/ control your feeding. Not saying feed less more feed a constant amount not random...

    Dealing with lyngbya

So a interesting update. I saw the 210gallon tank today and was kinda like screw the experiment for today. I maybe share a update on the experiment tomorrow. These pictures are from 2 hours ago. If you scroll back slightly you can see the pictures from a few days ago. It's actually 95%...

    1 in slipxslip Gate Valve

Try calling ac or Neptunes this is something they normally have though pretty pricey. For specifically spears you might find cheaper online if your not in a rush. Some of the local ones I found kina lack good quality. No idea on the place he refrenced never heard of them, just a few more...

RSVP by 4/24 for the 4/26 SUNDAY frag swap in Newark

Just go with two little fishes revive and your good. Very popular choice. Dips can become a rabbit hole if you dare to jump in it. It's available at any lfs or online. The other one I have for fragging sessions is sechem iodine dip. I use it to help newly fragged coral heal not so much to...
