Yeah fighting with the layout sizing, for whatever reason xenforo prioritizes the meta info (replies, views reactions) and collapses the thread title and tries to keep those intact! Trying to revamp so that on collapse you see the abbreviated versions, same as on mobile while keeping the title...

Ah - the quick links boxes are what's really causing it, the widgets don't resize. I'll set it to hide widgets when narrow, will update this afternoon or this evening!

Haha yeah it’s gross, but a necessary evil these days. Good luck in the job hunt, I’ve been at it myself after my previous employer laid off all but 2 people at the beginning of the year… All the uncertainty around the economy, funding etc is making things much more difficult than it used to be :(

OK - What's new page FINALLY fixed - the 2 sidebars were squeezing the center content on desktop but XenForo is still using display: table + fixed meta/latest column widths (115px, 140px), which leaves almost no width for the narrow What’s New center column. I’m now overriding What’s New desktop...

Actually it seems be both - the native sql limit plus there is a setting admin side for min/max character limits in search. One trick for now is wildcard search CFM* for 3 letters *ph* for 2 letters Innodb also has preset stop words iirc, I’ll get this updated tonight so we don’t need...

HA! Just ran in to this searching "CFM" - this is a Xenforo limitation but I am working on a possible workaround.
