I had one for 2.5-3 years which I read is roughly their lifespan. I can't speak to it looking lethargic towards the end because I unfortunately didn't pay much attention to it's activity level. It probably depends on how old it was when you got it.

I have a spreadsheet formula that I use for mixing RC. I can plug in total water volume and current salinity and it kicks out how many grams are needed to get to 35 ppt / 1.026 sg 834 grams per 5g of water 166.8 grams per gallon or 4.765714286 per gallon per ppt

What size & brand?

I have a 57w Aqua UV brand sterilizer that is plugged into my Apex and reading only 22w/.1A on the eb832. I validated electricity draw with a kill-a-watt as well. Is this normal? Shouldn't it be drawing closer to 57w? The unit, ballast, and bulb all say 57w and the bulb is brand new, just...

This might sound dumb and may not work, but have you tried resetting it? Every time I've reached out to ecotech, which admittedly isn't all that much, they've suggested a factory reset.

I admit, I was a little excited at first when I saw Aquatic Collection post them for $240 but the yellow tang is honestly one of my favorite fish in the hobby. I agree with the others that gem tangs are only exciting because they have been so rare and expensive for such a long time.
