also, I finally got an apex & trident over the past black friday season. functionally it's not yet controlling anything more than my old reefkeeper lite did, but the cool charts and data that constantly gets logged is alone something that is totally worth it imo!

update. about a year ago I lost all my acros (the montis had all died off about a year prior from some flash brown jelly like wasting event), save for my OG tricolor valida, which I got from someone in livermore, a pink/green milli from the same source, and a tricolor stag/tort which hitchhiked...

I could try, have had success with torches, hammers, and frogspawn thriving for the last 3+ years now. ime with hammers especially, the placement matters a lot. I've had corals start to melt away, then moved them somewhere else and they stopped receding and slowly but surely established...

bump, does anyone know of a sensor that can detect any water flow through a pvc pipe

I'm trying to engineer something so that when my ATS main drain becomes clogged and the emergency drain starts carrying water, this flow is detected and the pump feeding the ATS shuts off. I was thinking either a flow meter on the backup drain/pipe or maybe some sort of optical sensor. Ideally...
