@Arvin R has graciously agreed to host us this coming year.

Huge shot out to @JVU who hosted us last year. For those that attended this was a fun, informal social event.

Last year the food was great.

I will follow with more details as far as potluck food items etc. And make a list of who is bringing what so we don’t end up with 15 salads or 30 types of chip.
Great opportunity to showcase your cooking skills or your awesome cultural dish.

We will all be expected to help clean up after ourselves in respect to our host.

Look foward to having a great turn out.

***Lastly there will be the opportunity to purchase corals from @Arvin R (Kays Coral Cove) Buying something isn't required to attend but our host would appreciate if you did. He always supports the club so lets make a effort to return the support.

Hey everyone what do you plan to bring to the potluck. I have a list going near the top of the thread that I plan to edit and update as members respond.

You and your Family are welcome just please RSVP above so everyone has a idea of how many to expect and how much food to bring.

Put me down for some tri tip. Think I have two in the freezer now I’ll throw on the smoker the morning of
Got three little ones (7, 9, and 13) I’d like to bring along. The wife and one year old are interested but probably gonna hang back.

Given the relatively low number of RSVPs, I'm not sure it's worth organizing a semi-formal swap. Maybe a googlesheet with DBTC and some trades makes more sense? How many folks are interested in bringing an ultra coral from those that plan to attend this event?

Happy to organize something just want to apply the right level of rigor for the level of interest here.

I don't have anything ultra that's fragable at present but strats, doubt there would be any excitement amongst this group here for zoas.

Whatever you think sir. I'm hoping a few more people sign up beforehand. Yet how things look I agree with you, keeping things simple with dbtc and trades makes more sense right now.

Google sheet would be cool to post what we have for trade.

Well, it is official. My wife has a 6th sense for any kind of reef gathering. She decided she wants to go out for dinner, on you guessed it...Saturday the 17th (i was pushing for the week before since her b day is on the 13th). Bummed, I missed this last year and the most recent swaps due to family commitments and here we go again. And on top of all this I work the weekend of the farmer's market. Double whammy! Oh well, next time I hope...
Have fun!
