2021 BAR Apparel

I was thinking we can set up a post to collect any pre-orders, ideal for anyone with an uncommon size or people who want to order for kids.

Then order 20-30 t-shirts and maybe 10-15 hoodies in sizes M-XL to sell at the BAR table. Do those quantities sound reasonable or should we order less?

In terms of payment, I was thinking cashless would be easiest. Either Venmo or the BAR Paypal but we may run into other challenges as John said.

@JVU Let me know how we should go about this. Should I place the order or the club? Whatever is easiest and makes the most sense. The goal is simply to provide some BAR apparel that can be purchased in-person so I agree that we should offer them at cost. We should place the order by next week to ensure it ships in time.
 
I like the way you guys have set it up to purchase online and have it directly shipped. I’m just saying if they were there I would purchase them. Thanks for all your commitment to the group. Sincerely, Nick.

We should consider having a separate merch site that is ran through a print service. I am sure that's probably an idea already brought up and discussed though. It would minimize inventory and have stuff available at any time. Unless we have a member that already does print services.

Agree. At the time, he was just putting together something quickly so we could have something, the various options weren’t discussed. I don’t think Pablo has interest in working on this further now. Someone else who wants to should take it over. Any volunteers? I don’t know if it’s worth bugging Pablo for the account info or just start a new one?

With respect to the options of having a donation linked or not, I think the club would rather have our members get the items as affordably as possible rather than more expensive with a donation.
 
@Srt4eric would it be possible for you to post an inventory of what there is left? I got one of the black hoodies but would be interested in some more stuff depending what’s left. Figure it be better to clear out what we have in stock versus just ordering individually through the site

I have some experience with Bonfire and Red Bubble for print on demand clothing, stickers, mugs, etc.... I've done a few projects for my car club, Shiba Inu club and currently spinning up a site for my SupraSaltyReefer brand.

If the BOD approves I can volunteer to spin up a BAR swag site using one of the print on demand companies. I'll just need someone to email me the high res files of all the logos we want to use.

I think I've seen 3 logos BAR has officially used in the past.
  1. Clownfish and Bay Area Reefers, Orange and Blue
  2. Clownfish and Bay Area Reefers, Rainbow
  3. Clownfish and Bay Area Reefers, Black
 
Is the Board open for more designs options on Merc?
Like larger logo on the back of shirts & hoodies with added dot ORG just seems like a waste of space leaving whole back blank. Maybe adding a coral piece background with our large clown overlay on back.. Tie dyed option with groovy letters would be sick.. Just flying it out there!

Yes! I think it would be great to have more merch and club branding in general.
