LOL, you guys are too much.

I tested par off my fixture thanks to Brian for letting me borrow a PAR meter.
1000-1200 right above water center to MH
600-800 right below water
450-600 at the level of corals 10" under water level
250-300 at the floor
220 at the front left and right corners (floor of tank)

Numbers seem really good to me. Looks like the 250w radium 20ks on an hqi ballast push almost as much as what I've seen of the 400w radiums on a electronic ballast.

I was surprised with the numbers. The fixture is only about 5" over the tank though.

250w hamilton hqi ballast x 3. Also remember I am running 8x39w t5s on universal triad ballasts.

Bryan, Brian, Dave were by the other day. We insulated around the tanks downstairs. Basically put styrofoam over everything. So far its worked a bit. Heaters are actually turning off now.

Nice wrasses- they look exactly like my 2 new additions. Did you get the filemented from Neptunes & the McCoskers from AC? do they get along well, my McCoskers is still in seclusion 99% of the time.
