My other option if they are too big for my 125 is Fiesta Vallarta has their 300 gallon freshwater tank going with community fish and an FX6 on there.

Hand sized. Discus like very warm water tho in case you aren’t aware.
Yep, I have 3 in my 120 and I keep it at 81F for the discus, but the reminder is always good.

Whose hand? Mine is 10" spread out. If they are 6", my tank is fine, 8+ and I would put then in the FV tank and raise their temp a bit to 81 like mine.

Rn I've got an oscar, two severums, a pleco, and 2 bala sharks (I used to have angels, rams, and a bunch of smaller stuff but they're now in other tanks). Everything's basically full grown and I think the oscars & severums come from the same place
Sounds like you know what you’re doing. Have you had discus before?

never had discuss, but I got Bruce's Gold Angel fish and a large bala shark at my parents tank. (been thinking about moving the 10 inch bala out) 40 G planted as well. Would they be ok in there?

Discus do much better at temperatures 86 and above. Many discus aficionados keep theirs at 92-94 degrees. Below 86 and their metabolisms slow down and they are more susceptible to disease. I've kept mine at 92+ for years, but had too much trouble finding other appropriate tankmates at that temp. They are now currently at 86'.
