Acrylic work

Anyone good with acrylic work? Just bought a clear water algae scrubber but one of the seams isn't intact and was wondering if someone can reseal it locally instead of shipping it all the way back.

I would think it's an easy fix with some weld on from tap plastics.

Great customer service. Contacted them they said they had a bad batch with the glue so they are shipping a new one.

Yeah - the acrylic welding is usually pretty straight forward if you ever need to do it.

Depends if that is separated or if it is warped.

If the acrylic naturally wants to go back against the other piece it's super easy fix. If there is a big gap, while there are weldon products that are "gap filling" there is a limit to how much gap you can fill.

Glad to hear.
I was going to recommend NOT fixing it.
With one weld that bad, the others are likely questionable as well.

They had a bad batch of acrylic bond's there is no warping.

Lol! I went through the same thing with them. BRS sent a replacement that was worse than the original. The company made me one from scratch with a heavy duty weld on, and it’s working well. The light covers are really nice, and worth getting.
