Any tank update? And how has Coral Wow dosing been working for ya? I decided to get Brightwell Reef Blizzard XC for the same sort of results.

I have been dosing both tanks but not daily, and mostly the frag tank. I always feel corals do better in the frag tank and attribute this to coral wow, since the rest is similar. Unfortunately, there is a recommendation to not dose this if your nutrients are above 20 nitrate and or 0.2 mg/L phosphate, which is often the case in the larger tank. I would love to dose daily or auto dose this, as I feel there are visual benefits, but this is anecdotal. And corals move in and out of this tank.

The nano tanks gets similar general attention as the larger tank but fewer ICP.

Unfortunately, I am at a point where things got still out of control as I do not have space to move corals anymore, and we did not have a swap for a while.

Need to work on a solution now - 2 folks asked for the neon green toadstools, which were free, but this will not free up a lot of space.

I bought this for this tank. Mainly because I like that it does not need either batteries or a power plug, and the mount seems to fit for this tank.

Ok, I tried to install the new Hydros feeder. No too happy about it.

Two issues:

1. The feeder openings are too large. As a workaround, I added the Reef Factory drum which fits, but looks ugly but works.

2. The mounting options do not work for the Reefer nano tank unless I remove the lid. There is only one fish in there, 6 line wrasse, not sure if she is prone to jump. For now, I removed the mount and placed it on an elevated surface.

What is great about this is the Hydros integration of course. Does not need a power plug.

This tank does not get a lot of attention but still keeps me busy occasionally.

Also, I started to think about replacing this tank with a proper frag tank - more to come (CADE, I am looking at you).

For now, the focus is on the dosing pumps.

I was not able to get the correct dosing amounts with either the Ecotech Versa or the Hydros 2ml.

I have three Ecotech Versa running successfully at both of my tanks, but was not able to run these low CA amounts for my nano tank - it could not hold the priming for either pump.

In my desperation, I decided to go all in with RedSea, including their pump and tubing, etc.

I got the ReefDose 2 from @Ayman yesterday and set it up today.

When setting up a temporary but still elaborate testing environment (sarcasm), I noted several (positive) things already:

1. The tubing fit was exceptional, on both the dosing container and pump itself. It seemed to be a very tight fit without much force, and without the need to use zip ties.

2. The first calibration attempt was spot on accurate - something I never had with Ecotech.

3. Pump size is really convenient for smaller cabinets.

I will not install it yet on my tank and let it run for a few days to see if it can consistently dose the daily amount.
