Does Santa Rosa chlorinate the water? No, Santa Rosa does not add chlorine to the drinking water howeverSonoma County Water Agency does chlorinate the water to provide residual disinfection throughout the transmission system

So I take it Santa Rosa water is from Sonoma County Water Agency?

The 90's saw a HUGe push to go to Chloramines. Frankly I am surprised that so many are on Chlorine now.

Oh, sorry, BAYMAC/Gresham here... Reef Nutrition is sponsoring BAR again, I forgot to switch accounts.

Yes, SR water is from SCWA. SCWA covers Sonoma Co. and also delivers to Novato. Last I checked (~two yrs ago) there were NO plans for switching to chloramine.

If you have low pressure a booster pump works wonders. My apartment has 45psi water and its 300 tds out the tap (Cupertino). Without the booster I got around 12 tds post ro. With the booster pump its 0-1. So definitely helps.

For chloramines I got the brs refillable catalytic carbon kit. I have that in addition to the usual two carbon blocks.
