Anyone good with Acrylic or Glass work?

I need a custom sized ATO made.

My wife wants a new couch and our current one allows room for my ATO container behind it. The new one won’t.

So I need something that is very slim but tall and deep to fit next to my tank for top off water.

Suggestions?

Ideal dimensions would be
5” wide
18” deep
30” tall

Maybe have a look at advanced acrylics they make ATO containers close to what you’re after. Certainly not cheap, but I’m pretty happy with the one I bought from them a while back.

Sounds like you found a solid lead. And keep in mind that the ATO water level is lower than the height at which water is added to the tank.

Or you’ll need a siphon break.

You can have tap plastic cut the pieces to size and they sell Weldon 4. It’s not very hard if you’re careful. They may even have some scrap pieces that they can give you to practice on.

Yeah for something this critical I’d rather spend some extra money for piece of mind.

If I built something like this I’d be worried all the time about it leaking.

Great work! And fast! I was told to wait a week before adding water. A quick test was done, but it needs time to cure.

So far I highly recommend plastic builders.

Would have been more than double from the others online.
