Apex misbehaving

So I have two things plugged into my EB832: my return pump and my heater controller.

Over the last few days, my return pump has been shutting off for a few seconds. Looking at the output log, I see this:

You can see the two ON events, but no OFF events. My return pump programming has only:

FALLBACK ON
SET ON

What is going on?

Secondly, last night, the heaters were off all night for no reason. The tank was at 72° this morning. No alerts, nothing. Good thing there’s no livestock.

Could it be that the EB832 is just failing randomly?

Looking at connection status, it corresponds with times that the apex “disconnected from fusion”.

Why would that cause it to shut things off?

Reboot it. Mine was doing that too and a reboot took care of it.

I’ve had this Apex for over 2 years and have never seen anything like this. I recently disconnected everything, did a factory reset and firmware update. I then started reconnecting the few things I need for freshwater…and now this.

That temperature drop would have certainly killed everything and is inexcusable in my opinion.

@Vhuang168 is there a known issue with outlets shutting off when the apex gets disconnected from fusion? It just happened again
